The parent company among the Majan Consolidated Companies is M/s Wadi Muscat Trading & Contracting Ent and since its incorporation in the year 1977 the company had been engaged in building construction and related maintenance activities. Under its banner since 1995 the company has been operating the best Amusement Parks which is one of the popular holiday destinations for the people residing in and around Muscat. Further, a training institute in the name of Majan Human Resources Development has been established as its division to provide professional training courses to students and working Omani Youths.

The group as part of its aggressive diversification has commissioned a steel manufacturing unit during the year 2003 under the banner of Hadid Majan LLC. These units produce and supply High Yield Strength Deformed Steel Bars known as ‘MAJAN STEEL BARS’ to infrastructural projects across Sultanate. The management is in the process of a major expansion for catering the growing needs of its customers in Oman. At present steel manufacturing has become the core activity of the group.

During the year 2006, the group has taken over an Higher Secondary School know as National Private School that has a history of over 20 solid years in Oman and today NPS is Oman’s one of the best educational institution.

Another area, where the group has made remarkable progress has been Omanisation. The focus of the group has always been on developing a skilled Omani workforce. To encourage more Omani nationals to join the group, and work in an atmosphere of trust and team work, a human resource department has been set up with an Omani as its manager.
